Charles Mynnors Appointed Member of Advisory Group Assisting Prince's Regeneration Trust

Charles Mynors has been appointed as a member of the Advisory Group assisting the Prince's Regeneration Trust.  The Prince's Regeneration Trust is one of the Prince's Charities, a group of 20 charities of which HRH The Prince of Wales is President, working with communities throughout the United Kingdom to ensure that important buildings at risk of demolition or decay are preserved, regenerated and re-used for the benefit of local people (see  FTB is not responsible for the content of external websites.

Charles worked as a conservation officer in local government before being called to the Bar, where he has been for many years the leading specialist on the law and practice relating to historic buildings and areas, advising and appearing for property owners, developers and local authorities.  He is the author of the standard textbook, Listed Buildings, Conservation Areas and Monuments, now in its fourth edition, and a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of the Built Environment at Oxford Brookes University, as well as a frequent lecturer at professional conferences; he is a Fellow of both the RTPI and the RICS.
