Charles Mynors has been appointed as a member of the Advisory Group assisting the Prince's Regeneration Trust. Charles worked as a conservation officer in local government before being called to the Bar, where he has been for many years the leading specialist on the law and practice relating to historic buildings and areas, advising and appearing for property owners, developers and local authorities. He is the author of the standard textbook, Listed Buildings, Conservation Areas and Monuments, now in its fourth edition, and a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of the Built Environment at Oxford Brookes University, as well as a frequent lecturer at professional conferences; he is a Fellow of both the RTPI and the RICS.
