Esther completed here pupillage under the supervision of Suzanne Ornsby KC, John Jolliffe and Ned Westaway.

Esther's recent experience includes acting as sole counsel for local residents and businesses as a Rule 6 party in a nine day called-in planning inquiry into an appeal against a refusal of planning permission for mixed use development including 499 residential units; acting as junior counsel to Rebecca Clutten for the Appellant in a four day planning inquiry into an appeal against an Enforcement Notice issued by a London borough alleging unlawful development in the Green Belt; acting as sole counsel for local residents as a Rule 6 party in a three day planning inquiry into an appeal against an Enforcement Notice issued by a London borough in respect of a Deliveroo Editions site.

Conor completed his pupillage under the supervision of Suzanne Ornsby KC, Philip Petchey and Richard Honey.

Conor's recent experience includes acting as sole counsel for a local residents' group in a three-day enforcement hearing into a ground (a) appeal against an anerobic digester located in the open countryside which raises a number of complex points of planning and environmental law; acting as junior counsel to Saira Kabir Sheikh KC for the claimant in a judicial review against the grant of planning permission for redevelopment consisting of a change of use from a health centre to a convenience store (R (Patel) v Dacorum Borough Council CO/209/2019);  and acting as junior counsel to Richard Honey to draft representations objecting to a number of major infrastructure projects in Northern Ireland, including the A5 Western Transport Corridor, the A6 Dualling Scheme and Lough Neagh Sand Dredging.  Conor is also instructed as sole counsel by an interested party to defend an upcoming judicial review against the grant of planning permission for a mixed-use, residential-led development which is located within a World Heritage Site (R (Walker) v Bath and North East Somerset Council (CO/2072/2019).
