Francis Taylor Building is pleased to be working in partnership with The Sutton Trust on its Pathways to Law Programme.

The Programme, delivered in collaboration with universities across England, selects highly able 16-18 year olds from less advantaged backgrounds and provides them with a range of opportunities to further their legal education. We are committed to taking positive action to address the lack of representation at the Bar of those from less advantaged backgrounds and our involvement in the Pathways to Law Programme is aimed specifically at encouraging participating students to consider the Bar as a career option.

As part of this ongoing partnership, six members of chambers will participate in the Pathways to Law Summer Conference in July, which is being held online this year. FTB members will provide mentoring support for students throughout the week and will participate in speed networking sessions in order to provide an insight into life at the Bar.
