At a lengthy hearing before LB Camden’s Licensing Sub Committee James Rankin of Francis Taylor Building managed to secure a new 4am, 1200 capacity, premises licence for The Bottaccio Group who aim to establish a high-end events space located in Camden’s old Town Hall.

The group will invest £20 million in creating a state-of-the-art venue located on two floors. A further £4 million will be spent on lighting and sound equipment.

Once opened in September 2024, the venue hopes to establish itself as London’s premier event space.

James was instructed by Ewen Macgregor of TLT Law who tirelessly engaged with the responsible authorities, all of whom withdrew their representations.

Charles Streeten of FTB represented the residents of Queen Alexandra Mansions; a residential block opposite the premises.
