Chambers is delighted that all three of our female planning silks have been included in The Planner’s Women of Influence 2020 list.

Morag Ellis KC, Suzanne Ornsby KC and Saira Kabir Sheikh KC have all been recognised for their contribution to planning over the past two years.

A panel of six judges assessed the nominations from readers of The Planner against five areas of influence: policy change, culture change in planning, communities, the new and developing generations of planners and the reputation of the profession.

There are four female silks at the planning bar and Francis Taylor Building is very proud that three are members of these chambers.

The list was published on Friday 6 March ahead of International Women’s Day on Sunday 8 March.
