Jul' 22‘Outstanding’ Tall Building Providing 100% Affordable Housing Approved by the Secretary of State
The Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities has granted planning permission for the erection of a 20 storey residential tower on the site of the former Edith Summerskill House, Clem Attlee Court, London SW6 7TW. The proposal will provide 133 residential units, all of which would be affordable housing.

Feb' 22Pulverised Fuel Ash Extraction JR dismissed: R (Whitley Parish Council) v North Yorkshire County Council and EP UK Investments Ltd [2022] EWHC 238 (Admin)
The Planning Court (Mr Justice Lane) has dismissed a claim in judicial review against the decision of North Yorkshire County Council to grant permission for the extraction of c.23 million tonnes of pulverised fuel ash (“PFA”) at the Gale Common Ash Disposal Site – which lies in the West Yorkshire Green Belt.
