Plannning Permission for Rose Energy Challenged by Calni

Mr Justice Treacy, sitting in the high court in Belfast, granted leave on 27 September 2010 to bring judicial review proceedings brought by Sir George Bain former vice-chancellor of Queen's University, and Danny Moore (former CEO of Wombat) on behalf of The Communities Against the Lough Neagh Incinerator (CALNI) against the controversial decision by the Department of the Environment to approve Rose Energy plans to build the £100m chicken litter/biomass burner near Glenavy, County Antrim.
