Planning Permission Granted in Respect of Residential Courtyard Development

An Inspector appointed by the Welsh Assembly Government has allowed an appeal from the refusal of Monmouthshire County Council to grant planning permission and listed building consent in respect of a residential courtyard development for 24 apartments adjoining 'The Mount', a Grade II listed building on a prominent hillside overlooking Chepstow.

The Appellant was represented at the public inquiry into the appeal by Andrew Kelly QC instructed by Harris Lamb, Chartered Surveyors of Birmingham.
