The Tribunal has awarded the Claimant landowners £3.3 million in compensation following a two-week hearing in March 2026. The Claimants were awarded damages under a private contract and compensation under the Water Resources Act 1991 to rectify damage caused by faulty flood defence works installed by the EA, and to cover the cost of rectifying the leaking flood defences.
