Members of the panel are to undertake civil work in the Courts and Tribunals in Northern Ireland for the GLSNI.  The GLSNI provides legal services for the Departments of the Northern Ireland Executive, the Departments of the United Kingdom Government, and a number of public bodies and office holders, in civil matters in Northern Ireland.  Members of the panel are not precluded from acting against these bodies in appropriate cases.
