As the country’s leading planning and environmental law chambers, and named after a towering figure in this area, the moot focusses on interesting and challenging issues in planning, environmental, and associated areas of practice. The moot problem for the first and second rounds this year is an appeal from the High Court’s decision in R (Friends of the Earth) v Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs [2024] EWHC 2707 (Admin).
