The Programme selects highly able 16-18 year olds from less advantaged backgrounds and provides them opportunities to further their legal education.

The networking session at the 2025 Conference was an opportunity for such individuals to get exposure to a range of different potential employers, ask questions and hone their networking skills. 

FTB is committed to taking proactive steps to address the underrepresentation at the Bar of those from less advantaged backgrounds.  We will continue to provide support to the Programme and the Sutton Trust’s activities for current students and alumni, in addition to annual work experience placements.
