Blackpool Council have been granted a final injunction under section 187B of the TCPA 1990 to secure the removal of an unauthorised gypsy settlement at a sensitive site in the Marston Moss Conservation Area.

Blackpool Council have been granted a final injunction under section 187B of the TCPA 1990 to secure the removal of an unauthorised gypsy settlement at a sensitive site in the Marston Moss Conservation Area.

The HHJ Davies, sitting in the Manchester District Registry, granted the final injunction [2026] EWHC 2237 (KB) after an expedited trial following on from a without‑notice interim injunction confirmed at the return‑date hearing. Andrew Fraser‑Urquhart KC acted for the Council throughout the proceedings.
