The Programme, delivered in collaboration with universities across England, selects highly able 16-18 year olds from less advantaged backgrounds and provides them with a range of opportunities to further their legal education. We are committed to taking proactive steps to address the underrepresentation at the Bar of those from less advantaged backgrounds and our support of The Sutton Trust and its Pathways to Law Programme is aimed specifically at encouraging participating students to consider the Bar as a career option. 

We have supported the Pathways to Law Programme since 2020 by providing annual work experience placements and volunteering activities. Through the new corporate partnership, we will provide financial support to the Programme and enhance our support for The Sutton Trust’s activities for both current Pathways to Law students and Sutton Trust alumni.
