FTB Celebrates Jeremy Phillips QC’s Election as an International Master of Gaming Law

Jeremy Phillips QC

Leading licensing and disciplinary law specialist, Jeremy Phillips QC, is celebrating being made an International Master of Gaming Law by the Las Vegas-based IMGL. The association’s global membership includes the most well-known gaming lawyers and operators in North America and Europe. Past conferences have been held in Copenhagen, Dublin, Peru, San Francisco, New York, San Diego, the U.S. Virgin Islands, whilst Masterclasses have been held in London, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Las Vegas, Malta, Tel Aviv, Sophia, Isle of Man, and more.

The appointment takes place following Jeremy’s highly successful webinar featuring Marc Ellinger (President, IMGL), Neil McArthur (Chief Executive, Gambling Commission), Brigid Simmonds OBE  (Chair, Betting & Gaming Council) and Andrew Tait (Partner, InceGD, Gibraltar). Jeremy is the only general IMGL member currently practising at the UK Bar.

On 10 November Jeremy will be chairing the Gambling Panel for the national Institute of Licensing, featuring a member of the House of Lords Select Committee on Gambling Harm and leading industry members and professionals.
